The standard lease period begins August 1 and ends July 16. This is a 12-payment lease covering approximately 11 months and two weeks. Residents should review their individual lease for confirmed dates, deadlines, and move-in instructions.
How Does Rent Work?
The total rent amount is divided into 12 equal payments. Payments are due on the first day of each month and are considered late after 5 p.m. on the fifth. The first rent payment and security deposit must be paid before move-in.
How Much Is The Security Deposit?
The security deposit is equal to one month’s rent. It is due with the first rent payment before move-in. The deposit is refundable at the end of the lease, subject to the terms of the housing agreement, the condition of the unit, and any outstanding resident charges.
Is Liability Insurance Required?
Yes. Every resident must maintain $100,000 in liability insurance coverage. Residents may submit proof of qualifying coverage or be automatically enrolled in the Landlord’s Required Resident Liability insurance policy for $10.50 per month. Personal renters insurance is recommended but not required.
